Info | Continuous Learning & Development in JPIT

As part of the department's initiative to strengthen & sharpen the staff's technical knowledge & leadership skills, several SEs (KM Team) have been given the responsibility to spearhead KM initiatives for the department.  They can be classified into 2 categories:



1.  In-house workshop for newbies (currently being rolled out Week 2 - Week 3 April)

• This workshop is meant to provide a crash course for newbies in JPIT on the "Need to Knows" as a JPIT staff. 
• The content of the workshop was discussed by more senior SEs with the objective of equipping newbies with knowledge/information they wished they had from the start of their career in JPIT. Some examples are - roles & functions of each section in JPIT, key Islamic Banking & Takaful financial ratios etc.

2.  Teh Tarik Talk (will commence on 27 April 2012)

• KM team will be organising Teh Tarik Talk sessions fortnightly (on Friday afternoons = Friday is learning day!) for the whole department. 
• A wide range of topics will be covered from liquidity framework to blueprint to leadership skills and of course, whatever JPIT staff wish to request to learn about. 
• KM team wants to break away from the formal, traditional KM sessions we normally have in the Bank coz learning should be fun & relaxed & interactive. 

Hopefully we will get the support of JPIT staff to participate in the above KM initiatives.
